Funeral service for Beverly Reeves Jones, 70, will be Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Barber and Bro. Stanley Reeves officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at UAB’s Palliative Care Unit. She was born April 11, 1954, in Morgan County, to Merle Reeves and Bernice Smith Reeves.
She was employed by Chrysler as a Line Technician, prior to her retirement. She was a faithful serving member of the Summerbrook Church of God of Prophecy in Somerville for 63 years. She was a leader in the church, a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Singer and a faithful pastor’s Wife. She loved to service the Lord and help people. She enjoyed Gospel music and sang with and loved to sing with her family.
Her parents preceded her in death along with two brothers, Steven “Pete” Reeves and Michael “Rooster” Reeves.

And a host of extended family that she loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be Marty Reeves, Ben Engle, Steve Reeves, Casey Barber, Sammy Engle, and Cameron Leeth.
