Funeral Services for Mrs. Beverly McCullers, age 68 of Lineville, will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Billy Todd and Rev. Billy East officiating. Burial will follow at New Harmony Christian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. McCullers passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2022 at UAB Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Clay County, a graduate of Mellow Valley High School, and worked for Southland and Russell Mills for over 25 years. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and playing rook in her spare time. Mrs. McCullers was a member of Shady Grove Christian Church, and helped with Vacation Bible School for many years. She enjoyed making crafts for her friends and family, for which she was very talented. She was friendly to everyone and never met a stranger, always encouraged others and was a faithful Christian Woman. Mrs. McCullers was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.
Mrs. McCullers is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald McCullers; her daughter, Christy McCullers (Richard Forte); her son, Johnny McCullers (Pam); three grandchildren: Dilan McCullers (Summer), Hunter McCullers, and Addison Belcher, all of Lineville; one great-grandson, Will McCullers; three sisters: Linda Patterson of Roanoke, Runa Crawford (Joe) of Cragford, and Johnnie Glenn (Wayne) of Bluff Springs, plus a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John M. and Christine Dean Saxon; her grandson, Justin McCullers; her father and mother in law, Radney and Clyde McCullers; and her brother in law, Frankie Patterson.
Dilan McCullers, Hunter McCullers, Danny Baker, Todd Crawford, Cody Crawford, Neil Hicks, John Hendon, and Rylan Patterson will serve as active pallbearers.
Riggs and Rhett Patterson, and Mike and Gwen Bailey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Her visitation will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.
