Gail was the daughter of the late Bud Haddock and Frances Eanes, whose spirits she carried with her throughout her life. A woman of incredible drive, Gail was the epitome of a “go-getter.” She was someone who believed that life was too short to stand still—grass never grew under her feet. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she successfully ran her own cleaning business, always putting in the hard work and dedication to make it thrive. But for Gail, family was everything.
When she wasn’t working, she was pouring her heart into the lives of her children, cherishing every moment spent with them. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she leaves behind a strong and loving legacy through them. Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Champ Jr.
She is survived by her children, Patty Edwards (David), Courtney Champ (Mike), Safari Champ, Danny Champ, and Christopher Eanes, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was also a proud and doting grandmother to 29 grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply. Gail’s life was a testament to hard work, love, and an unwavering commitment to her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
