Beverly “Bev” Marie Roberts, 65, of Downtown Franklin, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2024 in her car at the driveway of her cherished home. The cause of death is currently unknown. Bev was born on October 20, 1958, in Nashville, TN, to the late Harry Wade Roberts and Rita Pigue Roberts. She was also predeceased by her beloved sister, Diana Bell Roberts.
Bev is survived by her loving brother Henry Richard Roberts and his wife Kathy of Newnan, Georgia. She is also survived by her cherished nephew, Johnson Wade Roberts, and his wife LeeAnn of Thompson’s Station, TN; niece, Joanna Marie Roberts Sherer, and her husband Corey of Newnan, GA; great-niece, Carlee Marie Roberts; and great-nephews, Collin Wade Roberts, Whittaker Ryan Sherer, and Carden James Sherer. Additionally, she is survived by her first cousins, Kay Roberts Wolfe and family of Meridian, MS, and Mary Margaret Roberts Baysinger and family of Nashville, TN.
A proud graduate of Belmont University, Bev had most recently dedicated her professional life to serving as a Financial Analyst for the United Way of Greater Nashville. Her work not only exemplified her dedication to her career but also reflected her deep commitment to community.
Everyone who knew and loved Bev would agree that her family and friends were her world. She was also an ardent cat lover, chocolate lover and adored her hometown of Franklin. She proudly showed off her hometown and fought for its historical preservation. As an animal lover she regularly volunteered over the years with Happy Tales, Williamson County Animal Center and other similar organizations.
Bev’s presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A funeral service to celebrate Bev’s life will be held on 1:00PM Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Jim Taylor will officiate. The family will receive visitors at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home from 5-8PM Monday, July 29th and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bev’s memory to Williamson County Animal Center.
