Beverly Ann Ragsdale, age 54, wife of David Ragsdale, and a resident of Culleoka, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at St. Thomas West Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 12:00 – 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 9, 1969, in Williamson County, Tennessee, Beverly was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Thelma Watkins Bennett. She graduated from Page High School in 1988 and united in marriage with David Ragsdale on September 23, 1993. Beverly’s roles as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend were central to her life. Besides her work as a stay-at-home mom, Beverly enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and cooking, yet her greatest joy came from her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kelsey Ragsdale of Columbia, Larry David Ragsdale of Culleoka, Cindi J. (Josh) Mowery of Nolensville, sister, Tammy Bennett Johnson of Columbia, brother, James Richard Bennett of Columbia, brother and sister in law, Danny & Teresa Ragsdale, grandchildren, Jaylee Hope, Kennedy Chevette, McKenna, Wesson, four nieces, two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father in law, Kay & Larry Ragsdale.
Pallbearers will be Michael Crabtree, Danny Ragsdale, Cody Johnson, Tyler McBroom, Cruz Phillips, and Derrick Carroll.
