Funeral for Beulah Jane Kitchens Lane, 93, of Hartselle will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Callahan and Bro. Michael Mason officiating. Burial will be in Basham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lane, who died Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born October 1, 1919, in Morgan County to James Bailey Kitchens and Anna Jane Pitt Kitchens. She retired as owner and operator of Oak Ridge Grocery and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert Lane; two brothers, Elbert and Elvin Kitchens; and three sisters, Eva Gibson, Lula Mae Ryan and Elsie Wynn.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Lane (Gayle), Pat Lane (Carolyn) and Phil Lane (Sheree); three daughters, Agnes Hill (Charles), Trixie Moland (Hubert) and Leese Grantland (Micheal); one sister, Christine Pike McRight; 10 grandchildren, Greg Lane, Robin Wilson, Monica Doherty, Mark Lane, Joe McAbee, Troy McAbee, Chris McAbee, Lee Rooks, Breanna Grantland and Leanna Grantland; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
