Beulah Alene Vickery Newland departed this life on August 18, 2012, at the age of 82 years, 5 months, 4 days.
She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles and Nora Pitts Hampton. On May 15, 1948, she was united in marriage to L.V. Vickery, who preceded her in death on April 6, 1988. On March 21, 1997, she married Robert Newland, who preceded her in death on March 6, 2007. Mrs. Vickery Newland had worked at Savannah Manufacturing as seamstress before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Rossaier of Mobile, Alabama; sons, Larry Vickery of Mobile, Alabama and Charles R. Vickery of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Derek Vickery and Holly Newingham; great grandchildren, Kenneth Vickery, RJ Beasely and Ryan Newingham.
In addition to her parents and 2 husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Baugus Osborne and brother, L.C. Hampton.
