Bettye Watson Kirkland of Muscle Shoals, Alabama died peacefully October 7th with family around her.
She is survived by daughter, Carol and son-in-law, Clay Morgan of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; grandchildren, Sarah and Benjamin; older sister, Lillian Walters and niece, Lisa Walters. Bettye was preceded in death by her husband of almost 71 years, Charles O. Kirkland.
Bettye and Charles grew up in Laurel, Mississippi.
