Bettye Ruth Solomon Richards, 79, passed away at Florence Nursing Home and Rehab on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. She was born in Limestone County, Alabama to Willie Clyde Solomon and Mamie Ruth George Solomon.
Ms. Richards has lived in this area the majority of her life and was of the Christian Faith. She was a Faithful Servant of the Lord passing out Christian pamplets.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert Issac Richards; daughter, Cheryl Green; son, Billy Dean McClure; brothers, Bobby Joe Solomon and Robert Clyde Solomon; sister, Faye Pressnell.
She is survived by her son, Gilbert Issac Richards, Jr of Madison, VA; daughter, Angela Ruth Green of Decatur, AL; sister, Linda (Bobby G.) Huff of Decatur, AL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Elliott Cemetery, Ardmore, Tennessee
