Bettye King Ethridge, 85, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, at Compassus In Patient. Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, from 1 until 1:30 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Graveside service Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at 2 p.m., at Bennett Cemetery, with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Dr. David Hale will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ethridge; parents, Gracie and Paul King; grandparents, George and Pearly Bennett Randolph. She is survived by her children, James Gary Cooper and Cynthia C. Hale; grandchildren, Dr. David Hale and Christie Wolfe; sister, Sara King Goodwin and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
