Mrs. Bettye Elwanda McMullan, 91, of Florence, passed away Aug. 1, 2013, at South Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was a member of Underwood Baptist Church, AARP and R.S.V.P.
Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, from 2-3:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with a graveside service beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Donnie McDaniel.
Mrs. McMullan was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry McMullan; daughter, Carolyn Jane McMullan; parents, William Dewey and Bessie Grable; sister, Alberta Crews; brothers, William Sterling Grable and Donald Grable.
She is survived by her sons, George L. McMullan (Mae), Michael R. McMullan; daughters, E. Lavern Hall (Bob), Virginia A. Hall (Darrell); sisters, Norma L. Despain, Thelma L. Wilson, B. Charlene Johnson (Doyle), Shelby J. Norman; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
