A memorial service for Bettye Carol Akridge Danley, will be Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Murner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Bettye, who died November 9, 2014, at her residence, was born in Walker County, Alabama. She was a production Control Manager with Ford Motor Company and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moulton. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Akridge and Cora Jolly Akridge; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include son, Michael Danley and Michelle, of Birmingham; daughter, Deborah Murner and Keith, of Moulton; grandsons, Danley Murner, of Florence and Drew Danley, of Florida; grandaughter, Kacey O’Rourke and Matt, of Georgia; and sister, Dorothy Kirchler and Bartle, of Haleyville.
