Funeral service for Betty Woods Roberts, 86, will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Forest Chapel UMC Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roberts died on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Westminster Assisted Living Facility. She was born March 30, 1932, in Morgan County to Oakley Garfield Woods and Lydia Adeline Woods. Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and started a quilting guild called “Happy Hearts” in Decatur. She loved to sew and was very talented, even making wedding dresses for her daughters. She was a christian lady, who was a good wife, mother grandmother and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Benton Roberts.
In lieu of flowers: Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
