Betty Witt Olive, 88, of Florence, passed away December 25, 2023. Mrs. Olive was born on March 2, 1935 to the late Clyde and Etta Witt.
Mrs. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Olive Sr.; parents; siblings; Ruth Grigsby, James Witt, Vergil Witt, Ila Jean Wallace, Carolyn Wallace, T.C. Witt, and Mary Sharp.
She is survived by her children, Doug Olive Jr. (Mary) and Donna Wright (Terry); and grandchildren, Bonnie Black, Brett Olive, Cassi Wright, and Chase Wright; seven great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings; Dorothy Greene, Francine Young, Danny Witt, Diane Cypert, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, great grandsons and nephews. The funeral service will be on January 7 and will begin at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park, graveside if weather is permitting. If weather is not permitting, the funeral will be in the chapel at Greenview.
