Betty Winfrey Whisenant, age 72 of Huntsville passed away on Tues., Oct. 10, 2017. Mrs. Whisenant is survived by husband Ronald Leslie Whisenant; one sister Patsy Sexton; one son Brian Jones; one daughter Sheree Cox; four grandchildren Michael Jones, Zach Jones, Abby Grace Cox, Kaylee Cox and Hannah Cox. She was preceded in death by one son; Michael W. Jones; one brother Ollie Ray Winfrey; and parents Ollie and Dollie Winfrey. Mrs. Whisenant was a native of Nashville, and a resident of Madison County since 1985. She was a member of the Maysville Church of Christ and was the finance clerk for PPG for fifteen years. Visitation is Thurs., Oct. 12, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral service is Fri., Oct. 13, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN, Friday, at 2:30 p.m.
