Betty Wade Crabb, 80, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born March 17, 1934 in Egypt, MS the daughter of Wade and Zora Clark Crabb. She grew up in Okolona where she lived for many years until failing health necessitated her move to Sherer-Richardson Nursing Facility. She loved to volunteer, especially with the Meals on Wheels program. She also enjoyed gardening and was a member of Okolona Christian Church.
Services will be 11 am Tuesday at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lee Memorial Park. Her nephew Wade Crabb will deliver the eulogy. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Crabb of Tupelo; and two nephews, Wade Crab (Karen) of Lebanon, OH and Neal Crabb (Tannis) of Salltillo.
Visitation will be 10 am to service time Tuesday. Memorial may be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House, PO Box 2144, Tupelo MS 38803.
