Betty Sue Joiner, age 90, of Lexington, died Monday, March 2, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, March 6th, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Stan Dean officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Aday, Travis Rushing, Mike Northey, Richard Brackin, Abe South, and Bill Brown. Betty was a member of Killen Church of Christ. She was retired with the Lauderdale County School System as a Home Economics teacher and was an office manager and partner with her husband’s business. Preceding her in death was her husband, Condred Joiner. Survivors are her son, Joseph Joiner (Vanessa); sister, Carolyn Stringer (Scott); grandchildren, Mallory Clemmons (Tracy), Morgan Rhodes, Mason Rhodes, and Maddie Joiner; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Nora Clemmons. We would like to thank Dr. Danny McFall, Dr. Therese Lango, Dr. Lyman Mitchell and the nurses at Hospice of Tennessee Valley for their wonderful car and compassion.
