Funeral services for Betty Sue Garrett Hayes, will be Monday September 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Home with Brother Grady Mims and Brother Steven Caudle officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Gardens.
Betty went to her heavenly home on September 17, 2021. She was born February 17, 1937 to Riley and Beulah Owen Garrett, and was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Husband of 65 years – Odean Hayes
Son – Rod (Bridgett) Hayes
Daughter – Julie Reding
Grandchildren-Josh McCurry, Stephanie (Ricky) Ray, Misty (Matt) Palma, Allie Hayes, Hannah Hayes,
Great grandchildren-Garrett McCurry, Brayden Palma, Lucas Palma, Vinnie Palma, and Landon McCurry
Betty was 1955 graduate of Hazelwood High School where she was a cheerleader and FFA sweetheart. She retired after 27 years from Conagra and was a member of Central Park Baptist Church. She loved decorating her home and enjoying her children and grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Josh McCurry, Garrett McCurry, Brayden Palma, Lukas Palma, Ricky Ray, Matt Palma, DeWayne Helms.
The family wishes to express their heart felt thanks to Helen Helms, Southern Care New Beacon Hospice and four special nurses Pam, Kim, Allie, Bridgett and Dorinda for their kindness and professionalism.
