Betty Spain Reeves age 82 of Columbus, MS formerly of Guin, AL passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her residence.
Born May 6, 1941 in Double Springs, AL she is the Daughter of the late Lee and Perlia Rice Spain and the Wife of the late William (Bill) Reeves. She had taught at Mississippi State and several schools in Winston County before retiring. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was of the Methodist Faith.
She is Survived by a Sister In Law, Martha Sue Mims (Joe Ray Mims), A Niece, Susanne Blaylock (Jason) and 3 Nephews, Morri Mims (Lisa), Michael Mims, and Roger Tate (Ylan).
She was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband, William (Bill) Reeves, and an Infant Brother, Sammie Lee Spain.
Services held Saturday, January 13. 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel with burial in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
