Betty Smith 79, of Ardmore,TN died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at her home.
Born October 14, 1938, she was the daughter of Burbin Lee Smith and Lucille Luna Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John William (Billy) Smith; two sisters, Helen Marie Brock and Anita Slayton.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, James Edward Smith; three sons, Randy Carroll Smith and wife Donna; Terry Lynn Smith and wife Sandy; James Brian Smith and wife Amanda, all of Ardmore, TN; six grandchildren, Brandy Smith Rankin, Brandon (Jessica) Smith, McKenzie Smith, Kimmie Smith, Layken Smith and Blakely Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Evan Rankin, Riley Smith and Nolan Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.
Pallbeares will be Jason Brister, David Brock, Brandon Smith, Bill Smith, Cody Smith and Dwayne Slayton.
