Betty Ruth Wright, age 81 of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 28th. Burial will follow in the Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland City. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Mrs. Wright was born on November 13, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James & Minnie Raines Kelly. She was retired after 35 years as a nurse with Elmhurst Nursing Home. She loved reading, gardening, fishing, and collecting her favorite recipes. Betty was a member of Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Clouse; and grandchildren, Shane Hinton, Amber Young, and Keith Brandon.
Survivors include her son, Michael Clouse; daughters, Dena (Richard) Evers, Dewanda Brandon, and Donna (Larry) West; grandchildren, Kevin (Barbara) Brandon, Lori (Ronnie) Brandon, Leslie (Zach) Appling and Janice (Trent) Evers; 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
