Funeral for Betty Proctor Wheaton, 75, of Trinity will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Wheaton, who died Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her residence, was born, November 22, 1945, to Monroe Sydney Smith and Virgie Lorene Borden Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers – Leon Smith, M. J. Smith
Survivors include:
Son – Donald (Nancy) Proctor
Daughters – Eegee (Mark) McAnally, Cynthia Proctor
Sisters – Katherine Hallmark, Mary Elizabeth Morris
5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
