Mrs. Betty Nolen, age 84, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 in Lexington. She was born September 8, 1939 in Lexington to the late Willie and Ardelle Barker Vineyard. She was a retired employee of I-Appel and former owner/operator of Courtesy Cab Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Danny Nolen; her son, Roger Williams; and two brothers, Devon and Leon Vineyard. Survivors include her three sons, Scotty Williams (Tammy), Mike Williams (Michelle), and Brandon Williams (Jennifer); two step sons, Dan Nolen and Jamie Nolen; step-daughter, Kelly Vanvorrhis; sister-in-law, Rebecca Vineyard; 8 grandchildren, Landon Williams, Lacey Williams, Corey Williams, Darian Knight, Brittany Matheny, Tyler Williams, Spencer Williams, and Megan Williams; 2 step grandchildren, Zachary Nociti and Shelby Nociti; and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 5 – 9 PM and on Wednesday, 9 AM – 2 PM.
