Betty Moody Campbell, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Southern Magnolia in Golden, MS. She was born to James Angelo and Olga Ellen Scott Sparks. She worked as a beautician for many years and was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 12 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Haskell Sparks officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children, Larry Moody (Dorothy) and Connie Morrow (John); two grandchildren, Adam Morrow and Jennifer Cohen (Eric); one great-granddaughter, Grace Moody and one sister, Bobbie Newell (Evonne).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Moody and her siblings, Edith Dickinson (Eugene), Jesse Sparks (Florence), Otha Sparks (Evelyn), Howard Sparks (Reba), Helen Long (Carl), Myrtle Johnson (Lester), Berdean Moody (Rass) and Johnny Sparks.
Pallbearers will be Dicky Sparks, Jeff Sparks, Nicky Newell, Johnny Mac Johnson, Lane Parker and Kohlten Parker.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 11-12 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
