Betty May Woolf, 92, of Huntsville, AL passed away April 29, 2024, and is now in the arms of Jesus, her Savior and Lord, walking the streets of gold.

She was born in Norwich, Norfolk England and survived many bombings during WWII. She met her future husband, Jeff Woolf, while he was stationed in England during the Korean War and moved to the United States in 1955 to marry him. She was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother and loved nothing more than to dote on her children and grandchildren. She joined Valley Fellowship Church in the early 1980s and spent the rest of her life living the Word, glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ in everything that she did, and serving as an active prayer warrior to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Farmer Woolf Jr. Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Daniel; son, Jonathan Woolf (Lisa); five grandchildren, Bo Daniel, Blake Daniel, Brad Daniel, Samantha Woolf and Ashley Wilbanks (Shannon); three great-grandchildren, Caden Daniel, Grayson Mann and JoAnn Wilbanks; and her most beloved chihuahua, Jo Jo.

The family would like to express special thanks to her beloved sister, Vera Knight, her pastor, Carol Simon and her special friend, Erika Medley who stood by her daily and were with her as she left her earthly body and went to meet her Savior, as well as to her caregiver, Alice Cawthorn, for providing such wonderful love and care to her in her final weeks.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Carol Simon and Greg Simon officiating. Burial will be immediately after the service in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dean Knight, Glen Knight, Joseph Medley, Tom Hase, Larry Laster and Jerry Dean.
