Mrs. Betty Marverine Forsythe Walling, age 80, passed away peacefully Sunday January 1, 2023. Betty was a Van Buren County native born on March 7, 1942 to the late Elbert and Evelyn Griffin Forsythe. Betty was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband; William Alonzo Walling, son; William Darrell Walling, brothers; Tommy and Larry Forsythe.
Betty is survived by her loving family, sons; Ricky (Lisa) Walling, Jeff (Darlene) Walling, daughter-in-law; Deborah Walling sisters; Diana Allen and Sandra (Ray) Cole, grandchildren; Tabitha (Preston) Denney, Kyle (Jessica) Walling, Shane (Megan) Walling, Justin Walling, Shaina Walling, Tyler (Brittany) Walling, and Ryan Walling, great-grandchildren; Bree Ann (Cobey) Meadows, Blake (Tanner) Eldridge, Jaedyn Walling, Baylor Morris, Elliana Kate Walling, Haylee Emery, Addacyn Emery, Briar and Brooke Walling, Mason, Miles and Saige Walling, Ryker and Elsie Kate Walling.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 2, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating, burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation time are Sunday Jan. 1st 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Monday Jan.2nd 9:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
