Betty Marie Collins, age 85, of the Berlin Community, died Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 16th, 1937 in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Jolly Sr. and Bessie Fagan Walls. She retired from Cosmolab and was a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, “Son” Walls, Virginia Moore, Bill Walls, Nolan Walls, Mary Sue Bell, Sarah Morgan, Pat Walls, Jim Walls, and Gayle Braden, and a son in law, Troy Dunnivant.
She is survived by one daughter, Dawn Dunnivant of Berlin, three sisters, Wanda Clark of Murfreesboro, Lolly Petty of Chapel Hill, and Kay King of Chapel Hill, two brothers, Gene Walls of Florida, and Jolly Walls Jr. of Chapel Hill, one step grandchild, Jason Dunnivant, and two step great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Frank Ownby Cemetery in the Berlin community with burial to follow.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
