An Angel was sent to Heaven Tuesday November 13, 2012. Betty Lucinda Phillips, 66, of Florence, departed this earth after a long hard fight with cancer. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Friday November 16, at Greenview Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2pm, Rev. Bill Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jack and Ruth Sparks. Survivors are her devoted husband, Tim Phillips; son, Wally Aycock (Marsha), Spruce Pine; daughter, Lisa Lenz (Earl), Leighton; grandchildren, Matt Aycock and Brett Aycock; sister, Annette Hamilton, Russellville; niece and nephew, Jerry Hamilton (Norma) and Charlotte Seay (Rodney), Russellville; church family and ladies Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church; special furry friends, Scratchy and Ringo.
