Funeral service for Betty Lou Owens, 73, of Decatur will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Richie Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Burningtree Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Owens died Monday, October 21, 2013 at River City Center. She was born September 29, 1938, in Morgan County to Duel and Mary E. James.
Survivors include two sons, Loyd Owens Jr. and wife, Terrie, and Donald Owens and wife, Felicia; two daughters, Sarah Boyles and Sheila Roberts; one sister, Jean Morgan; sister-in-law, Flossie Terrell; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
