A Private Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Betty Lou Groover, 94, will be in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Groover passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Rolling Meadows – The Gables in Texas. She was born July 26, 1930, in Morgan County, to James M. Nelson and Ora Harriet Creel Nelson. She was a Bookkeeper for Russell Forest Products, prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her Husband – Bill Groover of Henrietta, TX
In lieu of flowers; family requests memorial donations be made to First Methodist Church, Good Samaritan Fund, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Samaritan’s Purse.
