Betty Lou Denton, age 75, of Tuscumbia, Al, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Darrell Pace will be officiating.
Betty was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Tuscumbia. She retired from Helen Keller Hospital after 20 years of loyal service.
She was preceded in death by parents; Archie and Victoria Handley, husband; Johnny Denton, infant daughter; Connie, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors are sons; Michael Sparks (Tracy), and Tommy Sparks, daughter; Nancy Sparks, sister; Peggy Causey, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces and nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
