The family of Betty June McCulloch Eagle, age 62, of Decatur, will host a Celebration of Life at Calvary Baptist Church in Hartselle on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 4:00 p.m. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Eagle, who died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born March 30, 1959, in Decatur, to James Alford McCulloch and Dorothy Mae Sparks McCulloch. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ann Raines and Angie McCulloch. Mrs. Eagle was an RN at the Surgery Center of Decatur and Decatur General Hospital for 24 years. She was a loving and caring mother, wife, and Nannie, and the biggest of Alabama fans.
She is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Ray Eagle of Decatur; one daughter, Dottie Andrews (Mark) of Decatur; six siblings, James McCulloch (Glenda) of Decatur, Glenda Oakley of Tuscaloosa, and Linda Eaton, Joe McCulloch, Bruce McCulloch, and Gloria Gilliam (Jim), all of Decatur; one grandson, Barrett Andrews of Decatur; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation, 1201 7th Avenue, S.E., Decatur, AL 35601.
