Betty Joyce Davis Sanderson, 72, of Florence, passed away at her home on October 07, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Shoals Praise and Worship Choir.
Visitation for Mrs. Sanderson will be on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brett Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sanderson was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Polk and Lottie B. Davis; brother, Billy Davis; niece, Rose Marie Crittenden.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ralph Sanderson; sons, Scooter Sanderson (Amy), Keith Sanderson(Danielle), Clinton Sanderson; daughters, Rhonda Rossi (Bill), Angie Hastings(Leon), Emily Sanderson; step-daughter, Kathy Barclay (Larry); brothers, Shane Davis and Charlie “Finnie” Davis ; sister, Sue Camp; grandchildren, Tyler Mecke, Patrick, Aaron and Ryan Sanderson.
Active pallbearers will be Tyler Mecke, Patrick Sanderson, Aaron Sanderson, Rodney Camp, Mickey Camp and Leon Hastings.
