Betty Joyce ClementBetty Joyce Cantrell Clement, 90, Muscle Shoals, Alabama formerly of Russellville, Alabama passed away Thursday November 14, 2024 at The Pearl of the Shoals.

She was a faithful child of God and an active member of North Highlands church of Christ, where she served as an elder’s wife for 35 years.

She had a servant’s heart opening her home and kitchen to family and friends and anyone in need.

She was a woman of many talents, including a successful businesswoman, talented seamstress, and an amazing cook.

She was a devoted loving wife, mother, and grandmother loved by all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 58 years James Clement, parents Alden Cantrell, Nelle Cantrell Taylor, stepfather Wilson O. Taylor, and stepbrother Bobby Taylor.

Survivors include children, Elaine Sutton (Daryl), Donald Clement (Kellie), Jeannie Isbell, grandchildren Pierce Malmquist (Jace), Petra Malmquist, Nick Isbell, Lucas Isbell; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Pierce Malmquist, Nick Isbell, Lucas Isbell, Daryl Sutton, Greg Clement, and John Thornton.

The family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the exemplary staff for their genuine love and exceptional care they provided for our mother and grandmother during her stay at The Pearl of the Shoals.

Visitation will be Saturday November 16, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at Pinkard Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 2pm on Sunday November 17, 2024 at North Highlands church of Christ in Russellville, Alabama. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Highlands church of Christ.
