A Celebration of Life Service for Betty Jourdan 80 is set for 1:00 pm Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Elliott officiating. Burial to follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery in Cairo, MS.
Betty died February 28, 2023 in Kyle, TX. she was formally of Corinth, MS..
Over the years she had worked at Country Kitchen in downtown Corinth and as a sales clerk at convenience stores.
Preceded in death by husband, Hollis Jourdan; parents, Albert Strickland and Ellie Strickland; two sisters, Ruth Vanderford and Verna Worsham; four brothers; Odell Strickland, Herman Strickland, Fred Strickland and Audie Strickland,
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia McGinnis husband Darrel, Tammy Gray husband Jerry; one son Billy Jourdan.; Sister Jean Latch; brothers; Lester Strickland, Albert Strickland, Donnie Strickland and Gary Strickland; Grandchildren; Terry Tidwell, Samantha Floyd, Chelsea Jourdan, Savannah Jourdan and Ashton Jourdan; nine great children.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 to service time.
