Betty JoAnn “Jody” Suddith, age 67, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mrs. Suddith was born September 26, 1956, in Ohio to Ralph & Betty (Carson) White. She worked and retired from Walmart Pharmacy with twenty plus years of service. She loved reading, watching butterflies and always enjoyed her trips with her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Danny Suddith; mother, Betty White; father, Ralph White; and sister, Rebecca LaForge.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Danny Suddith II, Curtis Suddith (Amy); grandchildren, Brett Suddith, Alyssa Jones (Logan), Hayden Suddith (Madeline), Chelsea Suddith; brothers, William White, Ralph White, Jr; sisters, Barbara Suddith, Patricia Sears, Kathy Waters, Jackie White, Toni Cooper; sisters-in-law, Sandra Suddith and Patsy Williams; brother-in-law, Billy Fretwell; and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. Speaking at the service will be Jody’s nephew, Bryan Suddith.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Helen Keller Hospital for the love and care shown to our family.
