Betty Jo Hill, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 20, 2019.
Mrs. Hill was born Sept. 11, 1932 to the late Bill and Gertrude Stewart. She was a life-long resident of Madison County, Alabama. Betty attended Lincoln Village High School where she was a cheerleader and on the bowling team.
Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her husband, Tillman D. Hill. Her husband served 20 years as a Madison County Commissioner. Betty’s greatest joy was supporting her husband, family, and friends.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her children, Carla Diane York and Dee Hill, two grandsons, Gary Hill and Todd Hill, 2 greatgranddaughters, Emily Hill
and Wyndelyn Hill.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 with
Chaplain Spencer Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville, Alabama.
