Betty Jo Hansen, 85, of Forney, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2024. She was born in Athens, Alabama on August 15, 1938, to parents, Roy Edmond and Mildred Katherine Raney.
Mrs. Hansen is survived by her children, Debbie Hansen and Desiree Watts (David); grandchildren, Hannah Williams (Trent), Natasha Adkins (Cameron), and James Watts (Madelyn); great-grandchildren, Jillian Williams, Ellia Williams, Felicity Williams, and Faith Adkins; and sister, Wanda Bost (Jim).
Mrs. Hansen is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Katherine Raney; her husband of 59 years, Roland Emil Hansen; children, David Emil Hansen and Dawn Marie Randall; brother, Larry Raney; and sister, Robbie Nell Purcell.
Visitation will be July 22, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., immediately following the visitation.
