Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Beecham, age 84, are scheduled for 11 AM, Monday, July 21, 1014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with Bro. Jim Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Beecham passed away Wednesday in Horn Lake. She was born May 30, 1931 in Henderson County to the late James Ervin and Edna Petty Washburn. She was a retired inspector for G.E., was a member of First Baptist Church in Horn Lake, and was known as “Grandma” to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Beecham and her son Jeffrey Beecham. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Beecham Murray (Joel) of Horn Lake, MS; her brother, Frank (Peggy) Washburn of Reagan; six grandchildren, Carissa Woods (Chuck), Shawn Barnett (Ron), Guy Whitley Jr. (Diane), Dustin Beecham (Abbey), Traci Lail (Eddie), and Jodi Eanes (Bill); eleven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
