Betty Jean Thomas, age 76, of Gurley, died on Friday April 24, 2015.
Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas; and her parents, Virgil and Louise Southard Nash.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her children, Mike Allen and Tina Tucker; her sister, Faye Naymon; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Sunday April 26th at 11 am in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with J. W. Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Cameron Cemetery. The family will receive friends on that day from 10am until 11am at the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her nurse, Geneva, for the extra special care taken of Mrs. Thomas.
