Funeral services for Betty Jean ‘Shotgun’ Mitchell, 81, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Jeff Wilkes officiating with interment in Holly Pond Cemetery. Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Mitchell passed away May 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1936 to Arnie Feltus and Jessie Irene Wise Lambert. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ressie Boatright; brothers, Milton Lambert, Earney Lambert. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Billy Mitchell; son, Michael Ray (Colette) Mitchell; daughters, Patricia Ann (Charles) Harrison, Cathy Denice (Tony) Barnett; brother, Arthur Claude Jr. Mitchell; grandchildren, Adam (Lindsay) Harrison, Jon (Hannah) Harrison, Amanda Harrison, Brittney (Jonathan) Heron, Courtney Barnett, Bama Mitchell, Calista Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Charli Rae Taylor, Caleb Lee Harrison, Brooks Carter Harrison; and a host of family and friends.
