Betty Jean Melton Landers, age 85 of Jackson, passed away on March 23, 2023 in Jackson.
Betty was born on September 28, 1937 in Jackson, TN to the late Roy and Louise Byrd Patrick. Mrs. Landers worked as a Film Processor for The Camera Shop and later for MidSouth Color Lab. She and her husband were active members of South Jackson Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Clark Melton; brothers, Willard Patrick, Charles Patrick, Bobby Patrick, and Larry Patrick; and two sisters, Flossie Allbert and Marjorie Robinson.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Billy Landers; son, Jimmy Melton (Cari LaRosa); daughters, Rena Tyler (Kevin) and Michelle Landers; grandchildren, Dylan Tyler (Toni), Katelyn Raiford, Josh Raiford, and Carly Parker (Zach); great grandchildren, Kaden Ross, Kylie Ross, Emma Tyler, and Sloan Parker; sisters, Faye Patrick Yarbrough, Dorothy Patrick Cavender (Robert), and Linda Patrick Hanley (Jim); and brother, Harold Patrick (Kaye).
Graveside services for Mrs. Landers will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens. Ray Pack of South Jackson Church of Christ will officiate the service.
