Our precious mother loved to garden and cook. Some of her favorite memories were cooking for her family during Thanksgiving and Christmas. She attended Faith Church for many years before she became ill. Then she attended church services at Mitchell Hollingsworth. Mother loved everyone especially her family and friends. But her true love was and is her Lord Jesus Christ, whom she loved with all her heart and soul. Even up to the last days of her life she proclaimed that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. Our mother was so gracious and elegant. She was known for her exquisite beauty, her big blue eyes, and her beautiful smile. She will be remembered for her beautiful heart, loving kindness and sweet spirit.
Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her mother and father, Velma Cordelia and James Thomas Wallace; an infant son, Johnny Wayne Stults; and a loving grandson, James Tyndal Davis, III “Ty”; a sister, Virginia Miskie; and two brothers, Pete and Donald Wallace; all who were very close to her heart.
She is survived by her brothers, Jimmy Wallace (Jewel), and Paul Wallace (Glenda); a sister, Bobby Sue Woodruff; and a very special sister-in-law, Dorothy Wallace; and brother-in-law, Eddie Miskie; three daughters whom she loved deeply, Debra Davis (Tyndal), Teresa Cox, and Janice Goldstein. Her son-in-law, Tyndal was very special to her as she was to him. He was truly like a son to her. Mrs. Hamilton was blessed with four grandchildren, Trey Goldstein (Betsy), Julie Coggins (Steven), Sara Elizabeth Davis, and Jessica Lynn Smith; and eleven great-grandchildren. She loved and was loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tyndal Davis, Davis Haven, Jimmy Wallace, Paul Wallace, Grant Wilkes, Charles Marks, and Trey Goldstein.
Our family would like to express many thanks and appreciation to Dr. Danny McFall and his staff; also Dr. John Bartmess and the wonderful staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth. Everyone there took such loving care of our mother. A special thankyou to Martha Lopez for her loving care to our mother and to Annie Garth for lending her beautiful voice.
In lieu of flowers, our family asks that you take the time to visit someone in a local nursing home facility and show them love.
