Funeral service for Betty Jean (Gibson) Eldridge, age 75, of Decatur (formerly of Anderson, IN), will be Saturday, January 9, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson, IN. Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home, Decatur, AL, and on Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Mrs. Eldridge, who died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Decatur, AL, was born March 12, 1940, in Fount, KY to Abram and Ethel (Hammons) Gibson. She attended Anderson High School and was employed by Brookside Plating. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald L. Eldridge (January 27, 2012), and her daughter, Theresa Whitehead.
She is survived by four sons, Mike Bragg (Phyllis), Toby Eldridge, Danny Bragg, and Mark Bragg; one daughter, Missy Eldridge; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
