Betty Jean Geurin, 79, of Albertville passed away at Marshall Manor Nursing Home, late Monday June 21st, 2021.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  The service will be at 4:00 pm on Thursday June 24th, 2021, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Diamond Cemetery at Warrenton.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Geurin; her parents Lee and Addie May; special Aunt and Uncle Hubert and Eunice Windsor; her brother Thomas May Jr; her sister Virginia Liles and her infant twin brothers.

Betty was born and raised in Marshall County where she attended Marshall County High School.  After school, she met and married the love of her life Tommy Geurin.  They had daughter Wanda and their family was complete.  Betty worked as a local seamstress, who was in demand for her quality sewing.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her children, but really enjoyed picking on her son in law.  She was happiest when she was around her family or sitting with her elderly friends.

Betty is survived by her daughter Wanda Belvin and her husband Buddy; her grandson son Danny Belvin and his wife Tara; her granddaughter Rebekah Pitts and her husband Wyatt; her sister Leola Dorsett and her husband Sam and her 5 great-grandchildren Korey, Kaierii, Ryleigh, Haisley and Harley; and her future great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday June 23rd, 2021, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
