Betty Jane Plunk was born on December 7,1936 in Saltillo, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Walter Bryant and Zella Hopper Snodgrass.
On March 4, 1955, she was united in marriage to Paul Wallace Plunk, who survives.
Betty retired from the State of Tennessee. She was a member of First Christian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. She was a true loyal Adamsville Cardinal fan. Betty loved watching her children and grandchildren play any sport. She was married to the love of her life for 68 years. Betty loved her family dearly.
Betty Jane Plunk departed this life on November 3, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 10 months, and 27 days.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Wallace Plunk of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Debbie Plunk of Adamsville, Tennessee; sons, Randy Plunk (Tina) of Bolivar, Tennessee and Rusty Plunk (Jeanette) of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jake Plunk (Jaydin) of Trenton, Tennessee, Dalton Plunk (Darby) of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Clint Plunk (Caitlin) of Bolivar, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Paizlee Plunk, Nash Plunk, Hunter Plunk all of Trenton, Tennessee and Owen Plunk of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin and Bobby Snodgrass.
