Betty H. Barkley, age 80 of Fort Payne, passed away on February 14, 2022 at her home. She was born on August 24, 1941 to the late Floyd and Ethel Jennings Henderson. She retired from DeKalb General Hospital as a nurse.
Funeral Services for Betty Barkley, will be at 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Walker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until the 2:00 P.M. hour of service.
She is survived by her son, Rickey (Tammy) Henderson; daughter, Shelia Poole; grandchildren, Molly Kate (David) Lallone, Cory Michael (Alyssa) Poole, and Anika Watwood; great-grandchildren, Grayson Michael Poole, Austin Watwood, and Tayven Watwood.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wilburn Ray Barkley and parents.
