Betty Goode Hudson age 85 of Athens, AL, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. Mrs. Hudson was born August 3, 1932 in Lauderdale County, AL to Allen Fletcher Goode and Agatha Elease Bedingfield Goode.
Service will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Irby officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of Hobbs Street Church of Christ.
Survived by two daughters, Susan Carmichael of Enterprise, AL and Sherry Sampson of Athens, AL; one son, Mike Hudson and wife, Rosa of Athens, AL; eight grandchildren, Eric Carmichael, Bill Carmichael both of Enterprise, AL, Melissa Meadows of Athens, Tonya Patterson of Lester, AL, Lauren Vickers of Huntsville, AL, Torrey Downs of Athens, AL, John Sampson of Conway, SC and Brian Hudson of Athens, AL; one brother, Allen Goode and wife Eula of Rogersville, AL; two sisters, Mildred Cox of Rogersville, AL and Nell Cribbs of Ocala, FL.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
