Betty Faye Hancock age 88, of Scottsboro, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at Cumberland Health & Rehab., Bridgeport, AL.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11:00 – 1:00, Funeral services will follow in the Chapel, both held at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro, AL.
Betty was the owner and proprietor of Village Square Frame and Gift Shoppe in Scottsboro. Later she and her husband Jack owned and operated Village Square Antiques where they made friends far and wide. Betty was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church for 74 years. She is survived by her children, Teresa Hancock Holder (John), Jack Hancock (Lisa), Mary Lea Hancock, Bradley Hancock; grandchildren, Terra Williams, Anna Kyle Hancock, Jane Hancock, Josh Holder, Press Holder; great grandchildren, Beloved great grandson Rylee Hancock (Paige), Layla Guest, Ali Irwin (Whitten), Ansley Yates (Trevor), Chance Holder, Jace Holder, Kane Holder; great great grandchildren, Ava Irwin, Judson Irwin, Theo Hancock, Adelaide Hancock; brothers, Ed Cotten, Donald Cotten, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by father and mother, Harris and Pearl Cotten, husband, Jack Hancock and great grandson, Davin Blake Hancock.
