Betty Faye Ballenger Brown, 70 of Sumiton, passed away July 13, 24.
Betty attended church at Dilworth Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to cook and she loved her dogs. She was an avid Alabama football fan.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 17, 24 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Phillps Freewill Cemetery (Dilworth Church of God). Visitation is Wednesday from 1-2 pm.
The family request that everyone attending the service wear Alabama football attire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Zelma Ballenger; father-in-law, Paul Brown and her brother-in-law, Gene Myrick.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Kevin Brown; children, James Crumpton (Jamie), Ronnie Whitlow, Jr. (Linzey) and Brett Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Crumpton (Megan), Christian Whitlow (Olivia), Justin Crumpton (Hannah), Jenna Crumpton and Paizley, Elam and Salter Whitlow; great grandchildren, Rylan Neave, Blake Harris and Liam, Autumn, Collin and Kaiser Whitlow; brothers, Douglas Ballenger (Sheila), Cecil Ballenger and Timothy Ballenger; sisters, Mary Lou Myrick and Barbara Ann Phillips (Shot); mother-in-law, Georgia Brown; a host of nieces and nephews and special caregiver and niece, Elisha Ballenger.
